We at Kanosak Kennels are proud of our Alaskan Heritage, and we try to keep that in mind not only with our kennel name (Kanosak means “GOLD” in Eskimo), but also with our breeding goals. Alaska is one of the most awesome places on earth, its majestic mountains, the strength of its soul, its natural beauty, and the open friendliness of its people are all reflected in our breeding goals. They are to produce golden retrievers that reflect this ideal – a golden that is gorgeous to look at, with good sound structure, a willingness to work and a friendly, confident personality.
The Quick Litter is the latest incarnation of our effort to reach those goals, combining Isaac’s outstanding conformation and accomplishment with River’s sweet personality, joie de vivre and agility prowess.

Isaac earned his championship at age 25 months, going WD/BW and BOB over five specials. He was awarded Agility Dog of the year from the Greater Twin Cities Golden Retriever Club before retiring from agility with his Excellent Standard and Excellent Jumpers with Weaves titles. Between 2004 and 2008, Isaac earned CD and CDX titles, and went from RN to RAE in less than a year. He is an impressive looking dog with a stuffing headpiece and a melt your heart expression.

River is a wonderful example of a multi-faceted Golden Retriever, a happy girl who is willing to try anything asked of her. River has worked enthusiastically in agility with multiple handlers, making changes with aplomb. She has a level bite and excellent black pigment. She is a balanced dog with good bone structure. At Kanosak we try to give each of our puppies the best possible start in life, much more is needed beyond basic care. We have a routine socializing, play and love time every day with each puppy. At seven weeks our puppies are temperament tested to determine the puppy’s personalities. We also “stack” and “gait” our seven week olds to gain an opinion as to potential structure and conformation. We use all of this to help us match the right puppy with the right owner. Our puppies are available for placement in their new homes at seven weeks of age.
