Puppy Kindergarten

Instructor: Connie Hillquist

Who the class is for:

Puppy Kindergarten is generally for puppies under the age of six months who have had no previous training. Note: Owners only at first class! (Puppies stay home, please!)
Classes will be held at 7:00 pm.

Cost: $135

What you will learn:

Puppies are taught that it is fun to sit, down, come, stand, stay, and walk on command! They learn to enjoy the company of other dogs and people. Owners will receive instruction on housebreaking, health care, grooming, and how to handle typical puppy problems, like mouthing, chewing, and jumping. And we always take the time to answer your questions!

What to bring:

  1. a collar (of any type) that will not slip over your dog’s head (if your pup decides to back up, for example, he should not be able to back out of his collar)
  2. a leash
  3. non-crunchy food treats, like hot dog slices or bits of cheese, and
  4. a favorite toy.

What NOT to bring:

Do NOT bring your puppy to the first class session! The first class session is an informational session for humans only. Thank you!
