Instructor: Ronnie Bizer

Who the class is for:

Attention and Handling is for dogs and puppies who have completed a basic obedience course and are preparing for AKC or UKC obedience competition at any level. Open to purebred and mixed breed dogs.

What you will learn :

The class focuses on perfection of the skills needed by dogs and handlers to compete successfully in the obedience ring at all levels. Includes work on all the exercises: heeling with pace changes, turns, and halts, off-lead heeling, formal recalls, retrieves, jumping, group sits and downs, with emphasis on keeping your dog’s attention while working. We emphasize training through praise and positive reinforcement.
