Beginning Obedience

Instructor: Ellen Ritt

Who the class is for:

Beginning Obedience is for dogs who are no longer puppies and who have had no previous training.

Cost: $135

What you will learn:

Dogs are taught that it is fun to sit, down, come, stand, stay, and heel on command! We emphasize training through praise and positive reinforcement. The use of food and toys to motivate your dog is encouraged. And we always take the time to answer your questions!

What to bring:

  1. 1) a collar (of any type) that will not slip over your dog’s head (if your dog decides to back up, for example, he should not be able to back out of his collar),
  2. 2) a leash,
  3. 3) non-crunchy food treats, like hot dog slices or bits of cheese, and
  4. 4) a favorite toy.

How to sign up:

Return the Registration Form with your payment to reserve your place in the class.

The Vet Approval Form may be mailed with your registration or brought to the first night of class.
